Notice on Postponement of FILM & TAPE EXPO/ICE CHINA 2022 / CIFSIE 2022
Dear exhibitors, visitors, partners and media colleagues,
Given the ongoing, complicated situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic in China, notably the cases recently detected in Shenzhen; and due to the notification issued by the Shenzhen pandemic control authorities on November 23rd 2022, we regret to inform you that the FILM & TAPE EXPO / ICE CHINA 2022 / CIFSIE 2022, due to be held on Nov. 30th – Dec.2nd 2022 as well as its adjacent events, will be postponed to October 11th - 13th 2023. The events will remain at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.
We have worked extremely closely with partners, exhibitors, and service providers to ensure that all our Covid-19 prevention controls and measures were as robust as they possibly could be. FILM & TAPE EXPO / ICE CHINA 2022 / CIFSIE 2022 was planned to take place concurrently with other events in the electronics, automotive, smart manufacturing and assembly sectors, all organized by RX. Together, the eight shows were expected to attract 3,000 exhibiting brands over a huge exhibition area of 120,000 sqm all designed to deliver business value and to both suppliers and buyers.
In addition, we had made huge efforts to attract trade visitors through our online and offline campaigns. By November. 23rd 2022, we had registered over 80,000 visitors in multiple sectors such as consumer electronics, automotive, touch display, semiconductor assembly, medical electronics, new energy, industrial manufacturing, printing and packaging. For industry colleagues who may not have been able to join our face-to-face events due to travel restrictions, we had prepared livestreaming from the show floor and online match-making services for our customers to join us remotely. These services had received positive feedback from our customers. As the physical event will be postponed to next year, we will hold FILM & TAPE EXPO as a virtual exhibition on December. 15th 2022.
